We Need Diverse Books™ is a grassroots organization of children’s book lovers that advocates essential changes in the publishing industry to produce and promote literature that reflects and honors the lives of all young people.

How about forums for adult diversity writers? Are we authors that write for adults left in the cold and we have to put up with 10 rounds of apologists, -ism doesn’t exist, this is reverse discrimination, we just don’t have time for diversity because we’re all volunteers, it’s only a fad, etc every time we want to discuss diversity in our own books?
A forum should encompass all age ranges and not discriminate so that children aren’t left in the cold as adults. So us adult authors can also get solidarity from others also doing it and don’t have to fight through the muck. What about us who grew up with no mirrors and desperately still need them?
Please do not discriminate.
