WNDB Bookseller of the Year Nomination Form

FAQ

Q: I’m confused. Is the award for a person or a store?
A: Both! You can nominate either a specific person or group of people at a given store, or the store itself.

Q: Are self-nominations okay?
A: Self-nominations are welcome.

Q: Will the winning store be able to guarantee the author(s) at the Flying Lessons event?
A: Unfortunately, given availability issues, we’ll not be able to guarantee specifically which author(s) will attend the event.

Q: Could you tell me more about the presentation of the award?
A: WNDB’s Walter Dean Myers Award is typically presented in the month of March at the Library of Congress (date for the 2018 ceremony TBA). The Bookseller of the Year awardee will receive a travel and lodging stipend to defray the costs of attending the ceremony.
